Children's Holiday Art Club (Sept/Oct)

Step into a world of stories, imagination, and creativity at our Children's Holiday Art Club.

Each day begins with a beautiful story told from the heart to spark imagination and inspire the day’s creative journey. Children then create artworks inspired by the story using watercolours, beeswax crayons, clay, soft pastels, natural materials, teas, and more.

This relaxed and engaging holiday program nurtures creativity and imagination, while encouraging children to explore a range of artistic techniques in a magical and meaningful setting in our warm, cosy and beautiful Art School in charming Montville town.

Children may attend one or both days, with each day featuring a different story and new art projects.

What we’ll explore:

• Storytelling and imagination-based art

• Watercolour painting techniques

• Clay modelling and sculpting

• Texture, colour, and expressive mark-making

• Nature-inspired and seasonal art

At lunchtime, from 12:30pm – 1:30pm, we will (weather permitting) walk to the beautiful Russell Park behind the school and enjoy a peaceful picnic together under the pecan nut trees in the warm winter sun. This is a lovely time for the children to rest, connect with nature, and share lunch in a calm outdoor setting before returning for the afternoon art session.

Children should bring a packed lunch, a water bottle, a hat, warm jumper and a piece of fruit to share during fruit time.

All materials are provided. Small intimate classes of max 12 kids.
