Event description

KIDS HARVEST WORKSHOP: GARDEN DRAWING TRAIL

An art workshop for our younger creatives - children will take a tour around the Lanyon Homestead gardens to discover and sketch what they see along the way.

Explore the colourful gardens of Lanyon Homestead for inspiring botanical drawing or ‘flower painting’ - a popular pastime in the Victorian era. Children will take a tour around the gardens before sketching the wonderful trees and plants on watercolour paper and colouring their drawings using watercolour pencils.
