The Chilean Festival – Since 1983 at Fairfield Showground, Sydney.
The Chilean Festival is one of Australia's largest celebrations of Chilean culture and heritage, proudly presented by the Colo Colo Sports Social Club Inc. Held annually to celebrate Chile's National Day (Fiestas Patrias), the festival brings together people of all ages and cultural backgrounds for a vibrant day of music, dance, food, sport, and community.
More than just a festival, it is a celebration of identity, family, friendship, and belonging. It provides an opportunity for Chileans, Latin Americans, Australians, and visitors from around the world to experience the traditions, flavours, and spirit of Chile in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Visitors can enjoy authentic Chilean and Latin cuisine, traditional folklore, live bands, Latin music, cultural performances, family entertainment, children's activities, sporting displays, and interactive experiences throughout the day. The festival also showcases talented local and international Latin artists, creating a dynamic celebration that blends tradition with contemporary entertainment.
Our mission is to preserve Chilean culture for future generations while strengthening community connections, promoting multiculturalism, and sharing the richness of Chile with Australia.
