Event description

Diwali, or Deepawali, is one of the biggest celebrations that bring families and communities to-gether. The festival gets its name from "A row (avali) of clay lamps (Deepa)" that are lit outside homes to symbolize the inner light that protects one from darkness and Victory of Good over Evil.

This festival of lights, join us for a 1 hour workshop specially designed for our Toddlers to learn all about Diwali through story telling, bhajans, shlokas, activities, art and craft and plenty of Fun !

Chinmaya Mission looks forward to spark the cultural journey for young families across Melbourne through these workshops. Join us at a nearby location !
