Event description

Please note that this is a long-term campaign. If registering, please plan to attend every week on Sunday night, for approximately 12 weeks. If you are not able to commit to this time slot consistently, please allow someone who can commit to the slot to take this seat instead. ChiRPG hosts plenty of one-shots and campaigns; there is likely an alternate event that will suit your schedule! This allows us to engage in collaborative storytelling at the table with a consistent cast of characters. Thank you!

Your crew earned a bit of fame rooting out undead along the coast and plundering tombs scattered across the shore. Word of your exploits reached a wealthy scholar, who paid you handsomely to sail beyond the edge of the known world in search of forgotten ruins. It started as just another contract—but the journey led you to new settlements, each with bustling markets, curious locals, and strange cargo. These ports overflow with goods and hunger for what they lack.

Will you profit from these unfamiliar tides? Or will your voyage end with the contract? A new world lies ahead, waiting to be claimed.

This homebrew Pathfinder 1e campaign drops you into a sprawling coastline south of the Realm of Kisha. Modified naval combat rules raise the stakes—when ships clash, the fallout is costly, dangerous, and thrilling. Choose a life of piracy, privateering, merchant trade, or something stranger. Manage cargo, shape local economies, or ignore it all and chase what lies deeper in these waters. The sea is vast, and its secrets go far beyond coin.

---------------- About Steve -----------------

After nine years behind the screen, Steve (he/him) has grown into running homebrew campaigns with morally gray storylines. Is the villain truly evil—or just misunderstood? Do the players actually have enough information to act? His upcoming high seas campaign will test their willpower and keep them guessing at every turn.

Steve welcomes new players with extra guidance and plenty of space to explore their characters and play style. In that spirit, he’s co-developing Session Zero, an app designed to match players with compatible games—and GMs with compatible players. Curious? Join the mailing list!
