Choir 4 A Day Ballina

Choir4aDay is a unique event where people come together in a beautiful space for a couple of hours only to form a choir!

This workshop is an introduction for the Murwillumbah and surrounds before a new Big Voice Choir is established in early 2024.

Choir4ADay welcomes people of all singing abilities, making it accessible and non-judgemental. It provides an opportunity for creativity, from simple warm ups to harmonising and arranging. Learning and performing the songs allows participants to experience a sense of accomplishment. 

Choir4ADay combines music, community, self-expression and the joy of creating something from nothing together, even if it’s just for a day!

It’s a simple concept, that is all about community participation through singing.

Led by experienced choir director and songwriter, Janet Swain, the day will begin with a bunch of breathing and vocal exercises, leading to some musical warm ups and activities.
