Chop it like it’s hot! Power Tools 101 Workshop

Make your own kitchen wooden chopping board!

This is a workshop for anyone who would like to learn the basics of how to use common power tools - all available in our Tool Library.

While our tutor, Mana Moana, guides you on how to make your own kitchen wooden chopping board to take home, you will learn some basics of woodworking, power tool use, necessary safety equipment, the difference between tools and their bits/accessories i.e. Electric Drill vs Impact Driver

Power tools you will be learning to use are:

• Electric sander
• Circular Saw
• Electric Drill
• Impact Driver

No prior experience necessary
Lunch is provided
Materials and tools supplied

* Minimum age requirement 16 years

* Solid, closed toe shoes are required and long hair tied back.
