Christ Church Cathedral - Monthly tours inside the Cathedral

Join us for a guided tour which will take you behind the fences and into the heart of Christ Church Cathedral. Experience the neo-gothic architecture from inside the nave, learn about its history and be reminded of its stories and why it's important for Christchurch.  You will have the opportunity to explore many aspects of the project as it stands, a third of the way through the reinstatement.

Tickets are strictly limited to 50 per tour (with a waitlist subject to demand). You will be entering a construction site in suspension, and while we have a Certificate of Public Use our health and safety protocols require you to wear high viz and safety helmet which will be provided.  Please wear covered sturdy shoes. You must be able to walk on site unaided and be 10 years or older.

Choose your time slot and arrive promptly, late entries will be denied as we will run to schedule.  The meeting point is at Chalice on the south side of Cathedral Square
