Description
Christchurch Gang Show is a live musical variety show, delivering fabulous school holiday fun at the theatre for the whole family.
The Show is directed and performed by members of Scouts Aotearoa and Girl Guides New Zealand from the Greater Christchurch area.
You will be wowed with original comedy sketches, dazzling dance routines, and marvelous musical sequences. It will have you toe tapping, laughing out loud and singing along, providing exciting entertainment for all ages.
Gang Shows have been performed around the world since 1932, and our 2026 of 54 Scouts and Guides is ready to hit the stage and continue this proud tradition, providing a sensational show for you.

Overall Show run time is expected to be just over 2 hours, and will include a short intermission.
Venue doors open 45 minutes before the start of the Show, with Theatre doors opening approximately 15 minutes before the Show.
Refreshments will be available for purchase before the show and at intermission.
Please note that we are unable to provide refunds for purchased tickets. If you are unable to attend your selected performance and would like to transfer your tickets to another date, please get in touch with us, and we will try to assist you where we can.
Accessibility Options
Our venue has stairs, so please take this into consideration when booking your seats if accessibility is an issue, however, we have some wheelchair accessible options available for each show.
We have seating allocated at the top of the auditorium for those who may struggle with stairs or need wheelchair access, please select this ticket type for you and your full group if needed for anyone in your party, which will allow you to book these seats. The top row is the only row with no steps, and each row has 2 steps to the next.
Access to the top of the theatre can be via a lift, whereas access to the front of the theatre requires some navigation of stairs regardless of seating row location. We will have ushers on site to assist you.
