Experience the magic of Christmas at Landoll’s Mohican Castle as The Kingdom of Lights returns for the 2026 holiday season!

Stroll the Castle grounds surrounded by more than 150,000 Christmas lights, beautifully decorated outdoor Christmas trees, holiday music, and plenty of Christmas cheer. Whether it’s a family tradition, a date night, or your first visit to the Castle during the holidays, The Kingdom of Lights is one of our favorite times of the year.

Visit Santa at the Castle

Santa Claus will be making special appearances at The Pavilion every Friday and Saturday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, beginning Friday, November 27 through Saturday, December 19.

Bring the kids, take photos, and make a few Christmas memories at the Castle.

Parking

Parking is $12 per vehicle on Friday and Saturday evenings. Parking is FREE Sunday through Thursday.

Parking passes may be purchased in advance or at the gate.

Make a Night of It at The Copper Mug Grille

Before or after walking through the lights, warm up with dinner at The Copper Mug Grille.

The restaurant will be fully decorated for Christmas and serving our regular menu throughout the holiday season. With our expanded dining space, we can accommodate more guests while still offering the warm, cozy atmosphere that makes Christmas at the Castle so special.

Walk-ins are welcome, but dinner reservations are strongly recommended, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings.

A credit card is required to hold Friday and Saturday reservations. Your card will not be charged unless the reservation is canceled less than 72 hours in advance, at which time a $15 per person cancellation fee applies.

Turn your visit into a Christmas getaway with an overnight stay at Landoll’s Mohican Castle.

The Castle offers 31 hotel suites, and Suite 12 – William the Lion will receive an extra dose of Christmas magic with special holiday decorations, twinkling lights, festive touches, and holiday-themed in-room treats.

Elf Tuck-In Experience

Make Christmas at the Castle even more magical for the little ones with our Elf Tuck-In Experience.

One of our friendly Christmas elves will visit your room, read a holiday bedtime story, bring a small gift, and make sure your little ones are tucked in for the night.

It’s a special Christmas memory they won't soon forget.

Before You Visit

The Kingdom of Lights is an outdoor walking experience. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

The Castle lobby, gift shop, restaurant, and grounds are open to the public. The Castle itself operates as a hotel, so festivities conclude at 9:30 PM to provide a peaceful environment for our overnight guests.

The property is accessible to individuals with disabilities; however, visitors should be aware that the Castle grounds are hilly and paved.

Friday and Saturday evenings can be extremely busy. We appreciate your patience with parking and arrival. Our parking staff will work to get everyone parked and enjoying the lights as quickly as possible.

Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome in the outdoor areas.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Please note: Landoll’s Mohican Castle property will be CLOSED December 24 & 25.

The Kingdom of Lights will resume for its final evening on December 26, 2026.
