Festive Florals with Blak Botanics
Description
The Christmas decorating season has officially arrived! 🎄✨
Join us for a morning of festive making, facilitated by the merry and bright Nadine McDonald-Dowd from Blak Botanics.
Nadine is a Yuwi woman from Mackay, North Queensland, now living on the Sunshine Coast. With over 30 years’ experience working in the arts industry, Nadine has always held a passion for creativity and connection through making. After following her love for native flora, Nadine completed a Certificate III in Floristry and began sharing her passion for Australian native botanicals through Blak Botanics.
Explore the beauty of native flora as you create your own handmade Christmas decoration. Choose from a festive bauble, wreath, or star and let your creativity bloom as you craft something special for your home or a thoughtful handmade Christmas gift.
Through creative floral play, you’ll experiment with natural materials and bring a touch of Country into your festive celebrations, creating a piece that celebrates the beauty and character of Australian botanicals.
All materials are provided. No previous experience is required, and everyone is welcome to join us for a relaxed morning of creativity, connection, and festive making.
