XMAS IN JULY - NEW ENGLAND 2023

Day 1: Monday 17th July 2023 (L,D)

We depart the Port Macquarie Coach Terminal at 8.00am with our morning tea stop at Stockyard Creek as we travel up the Oxley Highway. Our first visit is to Langford House in Walcha with host Barry Marshall. Lunch is at the beautifully preserved Royal Café, a legacy of the old pub days in Walcha. In the afternoon, we visit Deeargee Woolshed and the Gostwyck Chapel in Uralla before continuing to our overnight stop at the Country Comfort Armidale. Phone: (02) 6772 8511.

Day 2: Tues 18th July 2023 (B, D)

After a hearty breakfast, we depart for a heritage tour of Armidale with local guide Sue Tanner. She will jump on board and give us a comprehensive talk on all the historic sites of this beautiful town. Lunch today will be in the town at your own expense, before we travel via Guyra to Glen Innes where we will overnight at the New England Motor Inn.

Day 3: Wednesday 19th July 2023 (B,D)

This morning we travel up the New England Highway to visit the magnificent property of Kings Plains Castle between Glen Innes and Inverell. This private, romantic, and unique property (built by the Vivers family in 1908) will completely enthral you. We have a delicious morning tea here. We travel back to Glen Innes for lunch (at own expense) before embarking on a town tour of the “Scottish town” in the New England for shopping as you will have the afternoon free.

Xmas in July dinner tonight with all the trimmings!!

Day 4: Thursday 20th July 2023

We depart via Guyra with morning tea stop in Ebor. Lunch today will be at the Bellingen Golf Club. After nice full bellies we are off home with a mid afternoon rest stop along the way.

Single Supplement $240.00

A deposit of $150.00pp is required upon booking

and final payment is due 25th May 2023

The itinerary may be subject to change without notice. Whilst every effort is made to adhere to the itinerary as provided, Holiday Coast Tours reserves the right to alter the touring and attractions as dictated by circumstances and conditions outside the company’s control. Alterations may be made to ensure the smooth running of the tour. Every attempt will be made to ensure the alterations do not adversely effect the operation of the tour. Holiday Coast Tours will not be held responsible for weather based cancellations or those closures made at the venue’s discretion.

Passengers are strongly recommended to take out travel insurance in case of cancellation or curtailment expenses, loss of luggage or illness etc.

Cancellations and amendments:

Cancellation fees will be levied relative to the amount of notice given:

42 days or more—loss of deposit

29-41 days: 50% of fare plus deposit

30 days before and Day of departure: 100% of fare.

In case of concert or sporting tours, where admission tickets are purchased in advance, a minimum cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of admission tickets will apply.

Some accommodation require prepayment and refund will be subject to their own conditions.
