Guided by the man with the big belly himself and his happy helpers bringing up the energy and sending good vibes through the city. You’ll be pedalling to the beat, getting your heart pumping and together we will check out the stunning Christmas light installations dotted throughout the Perth trail. We’re the City of Light for a reason!

FAQ

What should I bring with me?

If you are bringing your own bicycle, keep in mind that local laws apply. In order to participate you will be required to provide your own helmet and wear it throughout the duration of the cycle tour.

Come dressed in your most festive Christmas outfit, we want to see you shine!

Bling up your bike with tinsel, lights and baubles. The most Christmassy bike/outfit combo will take home a special stuffed stocking full of goodies at the end of the night!

Can under 18s attend the event?

All minors (Under 18) must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the tour.

Due to the nature of the event, we require everyone to be able to keep up with adults cycling at a moderate pace. We recommend a minimum age of 13 years old. If you would like to see if your younger child may attend, then please contact us at hello@coolevents.com.au.

Are you able to accommodate people with disabilities?

If you require the use of a Powered eBike or scooter for the event, that is perfectly fine. However, please contact us before booking your ticket to confirm that your vehicle is sidewalk safe and can keep up with a moderate cycling pace.

Where does the tour start and end?

We will meet up at the Perth Culture Centre in front of the entrance to the Art Gallery of Western Australia and finish the tour in the same location.

What music will you be playing?

For our Christmas Classics Tours we will be playing a mix of traditional Christmas music, and modern holiday tunes.

For our Hard Bass Xmas Tours we will be playing your favourite Christmas tunes remixed and the bass cranked up to 100 to get the Christmas spirit vibrating through your bones!

Have a special Christmas song you’d love to hear? We’re always open to suggestions, feel free to contact us at hello@coolevents.com.au.

Will we be able to take pictures of the lights?

Yes, we will stop at several points throughout the tour for photo ops! Our jolly team will be more than happy to get the perfect snaps for your Christmas cards and Insta posts!

What if we arrive late for the ride?

To fully experience the Christmas lights tour, we recommend that you arrive to the start point at least 10 minutes before your scheduled start time. Due to the group nature of the tour, we will need to stick to a strict start time so be sure you’re there to not get left behind. If you are running a couple of minutes late, we may be able to arrange for one of Santa’s helpers to find you and lead you to the trail!

How large are the groups?

Groups will be kept to a maximum of 10 cyclists.

What is your cancellation policy?

We get it, Christmas is a busy time for everyone, and things change. Because of this we try to be as flexible as possible. If you are no longer able to make it to your booked sessions, we can reschedule or process a refund for cancellations made at least 7 days in advance of your session.

We won’t let the Grinch rain on our parade, in light/intermittent rain we power through so please come prepared. In the case of particularly bad weather that makes it unsafe to cycle, we will either offer you the chance to reschedule your tour or offer a full refund. This will be contacted to you through SMS and email prior to the scheduled event.
