The Hunted Gourmet Christmas Buffet will be available in the Noel Leckie Function Room for $75 per person, offering a delicious Christmas-inspired buffet and prime views of the racing action.

For patrons in General Admission, the Concourse Canteen will be operating throughout the day, serving a range of casual favourites. Plus, Rob & Tracey's Soft Serve Ice Cream will be on-site with soft serve ice cream, slushies and hot dogs for those looking for a sweet treat or quick bite.

With a great mix of dining and casual food options available across the venue, there's something to suit every group and budget.

The Premier Racing Club in Country NSW

Scone Race Club delivers upwards of 17 other TAB race meetings each year, including the Country Championships in March, Scone Racing Carnival (including Scone Cup) in May, Ladies Raceday in Spring and the Christmas Party Raceday in December.

The support of Upper Hunter Valley thoroughbred studs and our esteemed partners, all contribute enormously to bringing the dream of a metropolitan standard carnival to Scone. For that, and their commitment to our full calendar of racing and events, we are very grateful.

The current racecourse, constructed in 1994, is located just two minutes from Scone Airport and is widely regarded as the premier country racing circuit in New South Wales. Operated by Scone Race Club, the venue plays a significant role in the NSW racing calendar, delivering upwards of 17 TAB race meetings each year.

The Scone Cup was first run in 1947 and quickly established itself as one of the region’s most important races. The Dark Jewel Classic was first run in 1996, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of elite racing at Scone and laying the foundation for the Carnival’s future growth and reputation for high-quality fields October.

Today, the Scone Racing Carnival showcases a strong program of black-type racing, highlighted by the $200,000 Listed Scone Cup, which provides eligibility for the $2 million Big Dance. It remains a standout event on the NSW racing calendar and a true celebration of country racing excellence.
