Sharing the joy of Christmas
The South West Italian Club - 13 White St, East Bunbury
Sunday, 29 November 2026

Doors open 3:00 PM- Performance to begin at 3:30pm

Celebrate the joy of the season with the Philharmonic South West Orchestra at Christmas Songs From Around the World. Join us for an afternoon of live music that brings together festive favourites, familiar carols and orchestral works full of colour and imagination.

We’re delighted to welcome award-winning conductor Chris van Tuinen to lead this festive celebration. Chris brings a wealth of experience across opera, orchestral and vocal music, having worked with Opera Australia, the Australian Ballet and leading Australian orchestras, including the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. His passion for bringing music to life promises an inspiring afternoon for performers and audiences alike.

Christmas music has a way of bringing people together, wherever they call home. This concert embraces that spirit, taking audiences on a musical journey through songs and sounds that have become part of celebrations across generations. You’ll hear the magic of The Nutcracker, enjoy beautiful orchestral performances and share in the warmth of well-loved Christmas songs.

The afternoon will also showcase the talents of our local musicians. The Philharmonic South West Orchestra will be joined by Sinfonietta Youth Orchestra, bringing young performers to the stage alongside the wider orchestra. We’re delighted to feature violinist Mia Loock and vocalist Morgan Halket as part of the program.

Whether Christmas concerts are an annual tradition for your family or you’re joining us for the first time, this is a chance to pause during the busy festive season and enjoy the sound of live music together. Bring your family, invite a friend and settle in for an afternoon filled with musical moments to remember.
