CI Research Collective
Description
An invitation to a group of dedicated practitioners to come together for a month of focused practice, exploration and research into Contact Improvisation.
Together, we imagine create a learning environment where we can deepen our practice through scores, set material, experimentation, questions and plenty of time to explore. We’ll offer light facilitation to help guide the process, while allowing space for the practice itself to lead us into new discoveries.
There will also be time to share, reflect and discuss what we’re discovering, letting these conversations feed into our ongoing individual and collective inquiry.
This is an opportunity for those who feel ready and excited to take responsibility for their own practice, while contributing to a shared field of research and learning.
Some experience in Contact Improvisation is necessary to join this process. If you’re curious or have any questions about the month, the format, or whether it might be right for you, please feel free to get in touch.
