Community Circle: Honoring Black History & Holding Space for Healing
Event description
Coming Together During Challenging Times
A lot has happened over the last few weeks. Many of us are likely feeling overwhelmed by news headlines and concern for ourselves, our loved ones, and the future of our planet. We invite you to join us for a community circle and dialogue, where we can come together, ground ourselves, and share what is on our minds and in our hearts. This gathering offers an opportunity to explore our collective and individual needs, as well as the strengths and support systems available to us.
The community-building circle is an indigenous-based, facilitated dialogue process that provides a space to feel seen, connected, and supported. This is a space for meaningful connection, storytelling, bridge-building, deep listening, and self-expression.
This Black History Month event is a safe space for dialogue among BIPOC-identified individuals.
