Circle of Security

Event description

Circle of Security is a program for parents who want to better understand what their child needs from them and get curious about their own responses. Understanding how to create a healthy attachment style for your child will set them up for better self-esteem, healthier relationships, and deeper self-knowledge.

In this program, you’ll learn how to:
•Understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs
•Support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
•Enhance the development of your child's self esteem
•Become more familiar with both yours and your child’s innate desire for security
•Connect with other parents and professionals in a non-judgmental, low-pressure space
The program is an 8-week group designed for parents of children of all ages. First-time parents and partners welcome. Snacks provided. Bus tickets and/or childminding available.
Fall dates: October 2 – November 27th, 1:00-3:00 PM at Ode’imin (603 St. Mary’s Road)
