Become A Member

CircuitWest is the service organisation for the performing arts sector in Western Australia.

Its major role is to ensure that WA gets more performing arts experiences, in more performing spaces, in more places more often, to grow one of the State’s critical sectors. It provides advocacy, professional development, marketing, research, touring, support and services across artists, producers, presenters, service organisations, events, and government and has a key role in helping connect the players of the sector so it can thrive.

As part of this remit, it delivers the sector’s two major events, the WA Showcase and the TechWest, annually. CircuitWest evolves more with each year and adds to this description as it finds new ways to achieve its vision of a state connected, enriched and alive.

CircuitWest can help you in many ways:

• Connect with the industry
• Provide resources and professional development
• Keep you aware of what is happening in the industry
• Provide member pricing at major industry events and training, such as WA Showcase and TechWest
• Support you and your organisation in navigating the performing art ecosystem

Membership

To become Members:

You meet the following criteria:

• Full-time, professional managers of performing arts presenter organisations in Western Australia, and
• Have access to funding for producing, presenting, acquiring, and managing performing arts in their venues, surrounding areas, or other venues.

Annual Fee (2024-25):

• Members with annual turnover from $0 to $500,000 / $385 including GST
• Members with annual turnover from $500,001 to $1,000,000 / $660 including GST
• Members with annual turnover from $1,000,001+ / $858 including GST

To become Associate Members:

You meet one or more of the following criteria: 

• Managers of non-Western Australian performing arts presenter organisations that coordinate with events in WA for geographical reasons, or
• Members or nominees of WA-based arts organisations that have a clear relationship with CircuitWest members, or
• Independent arts workers or practitioners who have a clear relationship with CircuitWest members.

Annual Fee (2024-25):

• Organisations with annual turnover from $0 to $500,000 / $275 including GST
• Organisations with annual turnover from $500,001 to $1,000,000 / $528 including GST
• Organisations with annual turnover from $1,000,001+ / $726 including GST
• Individuals (independent performers, producers and students) / $55 including GST
