(re)makerspace series: Circular Christmas decoration workshop
Event description
Not so fun fact - Christmas tinsel, baubles and other decorations are often not recyclable and end up in landfill. Super fun fact - you can create your own from upcycled materials! Join this creative workshop to make beautiful Christmas decorations using recycled materials like cardboard, paper and leftover wrapping (much of which we've sourced from the Queen Victoria Market). Learn techniques to transform everyday waste into festive ornaments, garlands and more. Perfect for anyone who wants to celebrate sustainably, this hands-on class will show you how easy it is to craft unique decorations with low impact on the planet.
