About the panellists:

Florian van den Corput - Sustainability Victoria - Florian is the Senior Advisor Circular Economy at Sustainability Victoria, an Industrial Design Engineer by education and a specialist in developing circular solutions from concept to implementation. With experience in consultancies, industry and multiple levels of government, Florian’s expertise lies in using design thinking to build bridges between strategy and execution. Within the Victorian Government he helps identify gaps and opportunities, advises on policy and program design, and develops solutions to accelerate our transition to a circular economy.

Cameron McKenzie - CEO, Aspire (Certified BCorp and social enterprise) - Over the last 5 years, Cameron has grown ASPIRE (from CSIRO & Data61) from less than 100 businesses to over 4000 and operations in multiple countries. ASPIRE has over 1 million tonnes of resources listed on the platform and focuses on building support networks and business collaboration. Cameron has expertise in sustainable business models and circular economy. He is passionate about fostering impactful solutions and collaborative efforts and demonstrating leadership within the Circular Economy Ecosystem. In June this year, Cameron spoke at the United Nations in Geneva about circular economy and best practice for MSMEs and SMEs alike.

Sam Keck - Managing Director, Commonfolk - Sam is the Founder and Managing Director of Commonfolk, Director of Tanti Park Social Enterprises, Director of The Cup That Counts and an Advisory Board Member at OneToo. Sam has established a number of social enterprise and circular economy efforts, including Home Ground, which focuses on providing training and job options in hospitality to unemployed youth on the Mornington Peninsula and Kua Coffee which provides climate positive coffee. Commonfolk also started 'The Cup That Counts'; committing 20 cents from every cup of coffee they brew and every kilogram of coffee they roast to support a coffee industry that’s fairer for everyone involved.

Julie McKay Founder & Managing Director, Enable Social Enterprises - Committed to social justice and finding new and innovative ways to support disadvantaged community, Julie is well-regarded for her innovation, passion and expertise in and for the Social Enterprise sector and Circular Economy. Backed up by multiple business awards, for the past decade under Julie's leadership Enable has demonstrated the significant impact of social enterprise in the circular economy, not only diverting e-waste from landfill but creating inclusive employment pathways and making technology more affordable and accessible for the community.
