Join us on Friday 27 August at 9 am for our Circular Economy (CE) Startup Meetups - where we hear from entrepreneurs/ expert speakers on a range of Circular Economy topics and projects!

This week our amazing guests are Maša Vahldieck from NSW EPA, and David Sivyer from Feedback Organics to talk about food waste! 

Maša Vahldieck, NSW EPA Maša is a Senior Project's Officer at the NSW EPA's Circular Economy Programs focusing on organics throughout the lifecycle. She is passionate about food waste avoidance and building robust end markets for compost to support climate resilient agriculture and land regeneration.
David Sivyer, Feedback Organic Recovery David is a fifth generation farmer with a background in hospitality and penchant for community. Since 2013 he's been running an organisation that's focused on combining those backgrounds for a greater purpose. Feedback Organic is a social enterprise that's accelerating the delivery of Circular Urban Agriculture for communities. It's been converting food waste into food on urban farms in the Hunter through programs that enable lasting behaviour change. By collaborating with schools, cafes, restaurants, universities and any organisation that produces food waste, Feedback Organic has established urban agricultural locations and programs within communities that focus on diverting food waste from landfill, localising sustainable food production and providing accessible education. Feedback Organic's 2021 Prospectus is searching for funding through industry partners who are mission aligned with scaling solutions to the UN 2030 SDG's for food, community and waste.The purpose of this collaboration is to create a platform to educate eager talent, provide that talent with sound support - on the ground, from the industry and from it's community while pushing for socially inclusive innovation.
