Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) make up around 90% of businesses globally, giving them an important role in changing how we make and use materials. Across Australia, small businesses are already putting new circular systems into practice, from transforming waste into new materials to rethinking how packaging is designed and used.
This Circular October webinar brings together Lextra, RESTORE and Philo & Co, three businesses working at different points in our material systems. Hear about the solutions they’re putting into practice, the challenges they’ve encountered and what they’ve learnt along the way. Each speaker will introduce their work before joining a panel discussion and audience Q&A.

In 2026, Boomerang Labs is partnering with Circular Economy Asia to deliver two Circular October webinars showcasing Australian micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The sessions will share practical examples of circular economy principles in action. They’ll also explore the opportunities, challenges and lessons emerging from this work.
