Embodied Anatomy & Dancing
Description
Embodied Anatomy & Dancing classes with Kim Sargent-Wishart, Certified Teacher of Body-Mind Centering® and BodyMind Dancing™.
Explore your dynamic anatomy through images, self-touch and movement. Based in Body-Mind Centering®, class time includes anatomical imagery and information, guided touch and somatic movement journeys, and time for dancing (whatever that means for you in the moment). There's also some time for drawing and writing if you like.
Recordings will be available to anyone who registers, so you can also do the class at a time that suits you.
24 April - Hips & Pelvis
Take a guided tour of your pelvic bones and hip joints. We take an embryological perspective to open up new relationships and movement possibilities between pelvis, legs and spine/tail.
22 May - Feet
Our fabulous feet - we'll explore elements of stability, grounding, mobility and springiness through the bones, ligaments and fascia.
Fridays 10-11:30am Melbourne time (UTC +11)
Sliding scale $15-35 per session, pay what you can.
