Event description

These School Holidays, join us for Circus workshops! Learn to juggle, walk the tightwire, hula hoop and more!

Location: Circus workshops will be held on Level 3, next to Farmers. Follow the signs.

Sessions are suitable for ages 5-12 years and will run at 9.30am and 11am Monday to Friday for approx 1 hour each. Limited spaces available, bookings essential. With limited spaces available, we ask that you are mindful of the number of children being booked and the commitment to attend so others don't miss out. If you are unable to attend due to illness, please contact us as soon as possible to cancel your booking.

We recommend arriving approx 5mins prior to the start time to check in. Children must be under adult supervision for the duration of the session.

If you have multiple children attending, please book an individual ticket for each child.

Frequently asked questions:
What age does my child need to be in order to attend the event?
Sessions are best suited for ages 5-12 years. Under 5's are welcome to attend and will still have lots of fun enjoying the games and tricks!

Does my child need previous experience to attend?
No, the workshops are designed for beginners.

Can I book more than 1 child into the same workshop?
Yes, if you have multiple children that would like to attend the circus workshop, you can book them into the same session together by selecting the quantity of spaces required during the booking process. You will also be requested to record the names and ages of the children that will be attending.

Can my child attend more than 1 session?
We kindly ask that you do not book your child into more than 1 session, as spaces are limited and we want to make sure that everyone gets a chance to attend. We reserve the right to cancel your booking in instances where you have booked the same child/children into multiple sessions.

How much does it cost to book my child into an event and do they need to bring anything with them?
All sessions at the Centre City school holiday event are free for your child to attend, but bookings are essential as spaces are limited. They do not need to bring anything along with them on the day, comfy clothes are recommended.

What happens if the session my child wants to attend is full?
Spaces are limited, so if a session is fully booked, you will need to find another available date or time to attend. Unfortunately, we cannot add additional spaces to sessions.

Do I need to stay with my child during the session?

Yes, children must be under adult supervision for the duration of the session.

Is the event accessibility friendly?
Yes, access into the event space is accessible. The workshops are physical in nature, but we aim to make all our events as inclusive as possible. Please reach out to us directly to discuss options before booking a ticket - marketing@centre-city.co.nz
