Presenter: Associate Professor Craig Whitsed, Director of Research, School of Education, Curtin University.
Associate Professor Craig Whitsed is Director of Research at the School of Education, Curtin University. Craig is an internationally recognised scholar, and Affiliate Professor at the Centre of Higher Education Internationalisation, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Milan Italy, and Senior Research Fellow, Centre of Internationzalition of Education Brazil-Australia, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. His research and teaching interests encompass the internationalisation of higher education, internationalisation of the curriculum, and academic professional development.
This session provides education professionals with essential strategies to address key challenges facing international students related to AI misuse and academic misconduct. International students may be particularly vulnerable in this area, as they often seek to improve their work without fully understanding academic integrity policies. The session will provide insights and tools to help guide and support students in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.
