Cities and Health: A Dialogue of Two Universities

This academic forum, held under the patronage of the Embassy of Peru in Australia, brings together leading researchers from the University of Canberra and the University of Sydney to explore the intersection of urban environments and public health. The event opens with remarks from His Excellency Mr. Vitaliano Gallardo, Ambassador of Peru, and features expert presentations on climate change, neighborhood health ecosystems, urban sustainability, and global health policy.
Key speakers include Prof. Jaime Miranda, Prof. Sotiris Vardoulakis, Prof. Luis Salvador-Carulla, Prof. Jackie Schirmer, A/Prof. Sebastian Rosenberg, among others who will share insights from national and international research initiatives. The program highlights contributions from the Health Research Institute and the Sydney School of Public Health, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration.
