Citizen Science for Migratory Shorebirds

Join conservation efforts and help migratory shorebirds!
Come along to our information session and hear from:
- Edith Cowan University, Dr Sora Marin-Estrella, introducing the migratory shorebirds that frequent the Leschenault Estuary;
- Leschenault Catchment Council Community Engagement Officer, Rachel Allan, describing the citizen science food monitoring program, what it's all about and how you can get involved in 2025;
- Edith Cowan University Hons Student, Samantha Spear, discussing results of the research to date and;
- Birdlife Bunbury representative Diane Cavanagh, to introduce Birdlife Bunbury, summarise what was found in their own estuary and inlet surveys and explain how you can be involved.
Light refreshments provided, please RSVP for catering purposes.
