Citrus Industry Workshop: Emissions Reporting and Greenhouse Gas Accounting
Event description
Stay ahead of emissions reporting requirements
Join the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board for an informative workshop hosted by Elders and Ag Innovation Australia, tailored for citrus growers and relevant to other orchard crop types.
This practical session will introduce participants to Ag Innovation Australia’s Environmental Accounting Platform (EAP) – a powerful tool that enables growers to calculate their own product emissions intensities. The EAP links directly with the official Horticulture Greenhouse Gas Accounting Framework (H-GGAF) and allows for the reporting of multiple crop types within one consistent system.
With tightening emissions reporting requirements across supply and marketing chains, now is the time to prepare. This workshop will:
Demonstrate how to use the EAP for greenhouse gas reporting.
Guide you through assembling and entering your production data.
Offer opportunities for Q&A and technical support from the experts.
Highlight how emissions data can enhance marketability and support future financing opportunities.
Whether you’re new to emissions reporting or ready to take the next step, this session will help position your enterprise for the changing sustainability landscape.
