City Country Fathers' Dinner 2023
Description
The Riverview P&F warmly invites you to join us on Saturday, 1 April at Riverview for the inaugural City Country Fathers' Dinner.
The City Country Fathers' Dinner has been added to the P&F calendar in 2023 following the ongoing success and popularity of the annual City Country Mothers Lunch, and in response to many requests for a similar event to be offered for the Riverview fathers, carers and father figures.
The City Country Fathers' Dinner provides an opportunity to catch up with Riverview fathers, carers and father figures you already know, and to meet other fathers, carers and father figures within the Riverview community. All Riverview fathers, carers and father figures are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Please note to avoid confusion: This is an event for the Riverview fathers, carers and father figures only. That is, this is not a father and son event.
We will have a number of tables dedicated for each year group. When booking, please nominate the year group that you would like to sit with so that we can sit you with others in your year group.
Please note: Ticket numbers are limited to 440 people, so please book early to avoid disappointment. The City Country Mothers Lunch sells out each year, hence the recommendation to book early.

Wine Auction to support the Riverview Bursary Program
In addition to the inaugural Dinner, we will also be having a Wine Auction, with all proceeds going to the Riverview Bursary Program.
Wine auctions have been held at Riverview in the past (last one being in 2017), and from all reports, they are a great way to meet other fathers and carers of our sons. You can bid individually or as part of a group to drink later over lunch, whatever suits you best!
How do you have a great wine auction? You have great wine donated! We are seeking your help in raiding the cupboard or the
wine store to help us build a fantastic wine collection for auction on the night. All donated wines can be delivered to a drop off location across Sydney and in various regional locations (see below).
When do we need your donation? All wine bottle donations are required by Friday 17 March so that they can be included in auction lots and associated notes.
For those of you who cannot make the event but would still like to contribute to the Wine Auction, there is an option to make a donation for the organising committee to buy a few additional bottles for the event. The donation option can also be used for those that may not be able to make a drop off location before the cut-off date of Friday 17 March.
