Make a quick afternoon escape from the hum of city life with our renowned High Tea at The Grounds of the City. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying an afternoon out with friends, it's the perfect way to indulge in the finer things in life.

Your Booking Includes:

  • 1x high tea set menu per person
  • 1x complimentary tea, coffee or juice per person


Savour an array of finger sandwiches, mouth-watering pastries and exquisite tea and coffee blends, all served in the classic shared high tea style.


All dishes will be plated to share.

  • Cucumber, mint and cream cheese finger tea sandwiches
  • Poached chicken, sundried tomato and watercress finger sandwich
  • Mini tartlet of mushroom, truffle and mascarpone
  • Smoked salmon rillettes on brioche toast with dill, creme fraiche and caviar

All dishes will be plated to share.

Please note that the high tea set menu can only be adjusted to accommodate vegetarian requirements. If you have other dietary requirements, please contact us prior to booking.

Where is the City High Tea located?
This high tea experience takes place at The Grounds of the City (Shop RG12, 500 George Street Sydney NSW 2000).

How much are tickets?
Tickets are available for $65 each (+ booking fees). Please note that a minimum of 2 tickets (max. 12 tickets) must be purchased for each session.

Terms & Conditions

  • High Tea menu and styling is subject to change without notice.
  • Ticket pricing at time of booking is final, and as such any later changes or offers will not be applicable unless stated otherwise.
  • Tickets to The City High Tea will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • One drink (tea, coffee, or juice) per person is included. Additional drinks can be purchased from the menu on the day.
  • Alcohol will only be available to guests aged 18+ years and guests may be required to present photo ID.
  • As we have limited sessions, any requests for refunds must be made at least 72 hours prior to your session. Refund requests made within 72 hours of your booking will not be considered.
