Travel instructions
Tram: The number 57 and 82 trams run along Maribyrnong Road. Get off at the Maribyrnong River bridge and head up the Maribyrnong River trail on the Aberfeldie side. Bus: The number 468 and 467 bus have stops close to Riverside Park. Bike or walk: We will be on the Maribyrnong River trail at Riverside Park, between the Afton Street and Maribyrnong Road bridges. Car: Parking is available at both Riverside Park or Aberfeldie Park, and along The Boulevard.
Entry instructions
We will be set up at Riverside Park to meet you. Access to the boat is via the jetty. There are some steps to access the boat.
After entry instructions
Meet us at Riverside Park and we will check you in, introduce the presenters, and show you how to use the iNaturalist app. We will then board the boat. The boat trip will take about one hour. There are seating options on the boat. There are some steps to access the upper deck of the boat. We will have staff at the event to help with any queries or questions.
Hazards
There will be some steps, we will be on a boat that is on water but relatively stable, participants will not be able to leave the boat once the trips starts, there will be first aid available and staff on hand to assist.
Toilet location
There are public toilets available at Riverside Park and toilet facilities on the boat.
Accessible parking
There is limited accessible parking at the Riverside Park car park. The car park has a drop off spot and a lot of parking near by.
