City to Bay 2025 - Pembroke School Team
Event description
Do you want to participate in the City to Bay on Sunday 21 September to raise money for the charity Canteen?
Pembroke has participated in this event since 2003, marking our 22nd year of supporting Canteen!
Our community’s involvement was initiated due to one of our boarders, Anna Bowman, being diagnosed with cancer just as she entered boarding in Year 10. Canteen, a non-profit organisation that supports young people impacted by cancer, provided Anna and her family crucial assistance to help them deal with the impact of this terrible disease. The organisation has also supported many other Pembroke students and their families over the years.
Last year, the Pembroke team had record 175 members comprising of boarders, day students, staff, parents, old scholars, and friends. Together we raised an amazing $37,832 for Canteen, becoming the highest fundraising team undertaking the fun run.
If you would like to be part of this worthwhile and fun event, I would really encourage you to sign up.
