Sophie is a Director in KPMG’s Climate Change & Sustainability Services team with over 15 years of experience in the areas of sustainability, reporting, circular economy, resource recovery, and environmental policy. As a sustainability specialist with a focus on ESG strategy & reporting and the circular economy, Sophie brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for driving positive change. With a keen understanding of the interconnectedness between environmental, social, and economic factors, Sophie is committed to developing and implementing robust reporting mechanisms that transparently communicate an organisation's sustainability performance.
Emily Simso contributes to New Forests’ corporate sustainability and sustainable investment initiatives. Based in Sydney, Emily works with New Forests’ teams globally to integrate sustainability across the investments process. She also helps manage the execution of New Forests’ sustainable investment strategy, the administration and continual improvement of the Sustainability & Impact Management System (SIMS), and New Forests’ sustainability and impact data collection. Emily’s prior experience includes working as the inaugural responsible investment associate for her university’s endowment and conducting sustainability analysis on private equities in emerging markets. Emily also has a background in environmental science and research. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola Marymount University.
Ninna founded Reground in 2014, demonstrating her commitment to helping businesses embrace the circular economy with a great focus on impact. Renowned for developing Australia's largest coffee collection service and has since supported over 600 local businesses in diverting waste from landfill. Ninna is an expert in circular economy with over 10 years of experience in designing and implementing sustainable solutions across various organisations. As behavioural design specialist, she blends her passion for sustainability with practical strategies to drive impactful change in the waste and innovation sectors. Ninna also spearheaded significant sustainability projects for government bodies, property managers such as Mirvac, and corporations like Macquarie.
Abbie is a Director at Rewild Agency where she advises organisations on climate and wider ESG measurement, strategy, and reporting. She specialises in climate risk, resilience, and overarching decarbonisation strategies for a wide range of clients in sectors spanning the built environment, hospitality and tourism, agriculture, government, manufacturing, and education. Abbie is currently helping many clients to prepare for mandatory climate reporting under the ASRS.
Sophie Hutchinson is a Director at Rewild Agency and is a technical specialist in climate, wider ESG as well as Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD). She has over 15 years of consultancy experience across both Australia and the UK and currently leads Rewild's advisory team, focusing on projects in the built environment in particular. Sophie has an in-depth understanding of the mandatory climate reporting legislation, particularly the ASRS and AASB S2 standard as well as international regulations and voluntary climate risk and reporting standards.
