Event description

NOTE: Doors open for networking and refreshments at 8 AM. The program will run from 9 - 10:30 AM,

Changes in federal policy have pushed legal boundaries that challenge policies regarding immigration, reproductive rights, international students, transgender youth, the LGBTQIA+ community, and people with disabilities. While the courts often have held firm in protecting due process, more aggressive federal action promises to continue to threaten fundamental rights and liberties, including in blue states like Massachusetts. What can be done on the federal, state and local levels to provide additional protections for vulnerable residents?

Join advocates, policy experts, legislators, and community leaders for an important forum on the outlook for civil rights in Massachusetts.
