Forget everything you think you know about jazz. Trumpeter Niran Dasika, guitarist Lawrence Folvig and drummer Kyrie Anderson don’t arrive with a fixed setlist. Instead, every performance is created in real time, layering evolving textures and unexpected rhythms into hypnotic soundscapes and inviting audiences into a creative space that is both performance and process. After this Melbourne trio LIIT brought the house down during an unsuspecting mid-arvo set at the 2025 Clarence Jazz Festival, we’ve been searching for an excuse to bring them back down.

One of the most exciting live musicians working anywhere in the world, New York-based Japanese keyboardist, composer, and producer BIGYUKI (JPN/USA) has built a global reputation for creating music that refuses to stay in one place. Blending jazz, soul, hip hop, and electro with fearless improvisation, his performances are immersive, unpredictable, and unlike anything you’ve experienced before. He's collaborated with some of the biggest artists on the planet including Kamasi Washington, Lauryn Hill, Robert Glasper, J. Cole, Bilal and A Tribe Called Quest.
