Event description

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the outdoors and capture the shifting light, colours, and atmosphere in this guided plein air painting class. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, you’ll enjoy developing your observational skills and painting techniques while working in inspiring natural settings.

Learn how to simplify complex landscapes and use perspective and layering to create dynamic, engaging images.

Join us for a creative and refreshing experience in the open air!

Please bring paints of your choice and canvas/paper. Oil will dry slower and be hard to transport.

About the Tutor
Michael Herron has been a practicing artist in Sydney for over 35 years and has taught art for the past 30 years. He holds a BA in Visual Arts from the City Art Institute (UNSW) and a TAFE Certificate in Fine Art.
