Event description

Please note that this event is being held at a different venue to usual: this event will be held on level 6 of the Hawke Building, UniSA City West Campus, 55 North Terrace (corner of North Terrace and Fenn Place)

Join us for an exclusive session with Joon-Yee Kwok, the Artistic and Executive Producer of OzAsia Festival, Australia's premier celebration of Asian arts and culture. Joon-Yee will offer an insider's view into how she curates and produces this dynamic festival, revealing the creative processes and strategies that bring it to life.

With over 20 years of experience in the arts, Joon-Yee has shaped numerous cultural events and initiatives, including BrisAsia Festival and various diversity programs. During this event, she will:

  • Showcase the OzAsia Festival: Learn about the festival's highlights and how it connects Australia with Asia through diverse artistic expressions.
  • Explore Cultural Engagement: Gain insights into Joon-Yee’s role in fostering cultural diversity and supporting Asian Australian artists.

Don’t miss this opportunity to delve into the world of OzAsia Festival and discover how arts and culture bridge communities.

The first half of this event will present an opportunity for you to refine your speaking skills through activities designed to make you practise the art of public communication.

We look forward to your participation!
