This special session offers a unique opportunity to learn from Penny Davis, a retired criminal lawyer with a lifelong commitment to social justice and community advocacy.

It' All About Choices:

Penny Davis brings decades of experience in law, social work, and community engagement. She began her career as a probation and parole officer and later became a criminal lawyer after earning her honours in law. Penny has worked extensively with vulnerable populations and currently serves on the board of Carrington Cottages, a not-for-profit organisation that supports people experiencing homelessness.

Her inspiring journey—spanning social work in London, raising a family of four, returning to university, and a distinguished legal career—embodies the power of personal and professional choices.

Penny Davis is a retired barrister and solicitor who dedicated her career to criminal law and social justice. After raising her family, she returned to university and built a meaningful legal career with the Legal Services Commission of South Australia. Today, she continues to support disadvantaged individuals as a director at Carrington Cottages. Penny’s insights on law, resilience, and community service will resonate with anyone passionate about advocacy, ethics, and making a difference.

This interactive masterclass will encourage reflection on personal choices while offering practical tools for powerful, persuasive public speaking.
