About this session: Traces a doctor’s journey in mastering communication, from the first clinical experiences that showed its importance beyond technical skills, to learning how to connect with patients, adapting across cultures in Japan, Amsterdam, and London, and developing the ability to speak with impact as a consultant and AMA President. It introduces three pillars of professional communication clarity, credibility, and compassion supported by personal anecdotes, and concludes with advice for young professionals to practice early in safe environments like PSC. The session also includes a Q&A and opportunities for participants to practice their own public speaking.
