Clean Up and Create

Calling all Earth Warriors! This is an event for parents and children to participate in together in the school holidays in Whitianga. Run over one weekend, the workshop involves a community clean up of our parks, beaches and walkways. The rubbish will then be sorted and processed at our home base. Next will be the chance to get wildly creative and make art pieces for display in our group exhibition. The plan is to install selected pieces around town and display in prominent shop windows to raise awareness around caring for our local environment. We will finish with a fun afternoon creating art from found natural materials at our local beach. One ticket covers one adult and up to two children. Additional parents and children from the same family will need to purchase an extra ticket.
