Clean-Up Australia Day | Bondi Beach Edition

CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY 2025 

Join your fellow ocean-lovers for a rewarding day of action as we come together to protect our beautiful Bondi Beach! 

This Clean Up Australia Day, we’re calling on the local community to lend a hand on-land or underwater to keep our iconic coastline pristine and litter-free. 

Joining us? Register through this event, and then on the Official Clean Up Australia Day Site HERE! (this event only helps us figure out how many 'Immersians' are going! We're combining forces with a few other groups)

When: Sunday 2nd March at 8am
Where: Bondi Pavilion
What to Bring: Reusable gloves, a hat, sunscreen, water bottle, Optional: your dive gear (only if you are going underwater!) 

Whether you're a solo volunteer, or group of friends, everyone is welcome to join. Let’s make a difference together and ensure Bondi remains a clean and vibrant environment for everyone to enjoy.

FOR DIVERS: IMPORTANT SAFETY DISCLAIMER AND ANNOUNCEMENT:-

•⁠ ⁠These sessions free community events. All divers participate at their own risk. No professional responsibility is taken by any individual or organisation.
•⁠ ⁠⁠There will be no safety divers/coaches in the water.
•⁠ ⁠⁠Weight belts are allowed for certified Freedivers only.
•⁠ ⁠You need to be in a buddy pair. Organise into groups upon arrival and stay with your buddy.
•⁠ ⁠No spearfishing
•⁠ ⁠Each participant is responsible for assessing conditions independently and bringing their own first aid. Do not follow the group blindly into conditions beyond your ability.
•⁠ ⁠Participants who ignore these rules will be removed from the group for safety reasons
