Event description

Our first members’ and supporters' meeting for 2024 is on Tuesday, March 26, at 6.30 pm, on Zoom.

Our guest speaker will be Dr Jenny Newell, who is Curator for Climate Change, Climate Solutions Centre at the Australian Museum, a position she has occupied since January 2022.

Our meeting will commence at 6.30pm and there will be time for Q+A following Dr Newell's presentation. All members and supporters are welcome.

Climate Action Burwood-Canada Bay (CABCB) is a non-partisan body of concerned citizens in the Burwood, Canada Bay and Strathfield LGAs of Sydney and the Reid federal electorate, on the traditional land of the Wangal people.

Our goal is to inform and engage the local community about the worsening climate crisis and to influence business and governments to take strong and urgent climate action.
