Climate Action Burwood Canada Bay with Steven Du

At this month's members' and supporters' meeting, the keynote speaker will be Dr Steven Du.

Steven is active in the Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA) and the Tesla Owners Club of Australia. He is also an active member of the committee at Climate Action Burwood-Canada Bay. 

Steven will take us on a fascinating and 'electrifying' journey – from the introduction of microwave ovens to the arrival of electric vehicles. He will also take us on his journey – from arrival in Australia as a Vietnamese refugee to becoming an electric vehicle (EV) advocate and climate activist. It's an exciting and uplifting story you won't want to miss.

The other speaker will be CABCB president Ken Enderby, who will update us on EV sales globally and bust a few EV myths.

At the meeting, we will also discuss CABCB's plans for our next major event in the first half of 2024. This event will resemble a mini "Fully Charged Live" show for the Burwood-Canada Bay-Strathfield area, focusing on electrification and sustainable energy options. We welcome your ideas and encourage you to consider volunteering for this event. Your insights and support would significantly contribute to its success.
