A three-part online professional learning series for educators (early learning, primary, secondary, tertiary and community settings).

Climate change education is no longer just about helping learners understand climate science, its also about navigating questions of agency, action, uncertainty, justice and what meaningful climate action can look like in their own communities.

Guided by Associate Professor Peta White, this Professional Learning Series provides space to examine the ideas and approaches behind effective climate action education, and consider how they translate into your own teaching practice.

Learning in collaboration and in the comfort of our own home, we will explore and improve your practice as you grow in confidence as a climate action educator. Between sessions, you will have opportunities to consider your own practice and test ideas in your educational context.

By the end of the series, you will have:

new ways to approach climate learning through action, agency and transformation
frameworks and ideas to apply to your own educational setting

connections with other educators exploring similar questions
a clearer sense of how to support learners to participate in meaningful climate action
a Certificate of Completion for 12 hours of professional learning
