Climate Ambition Now - Campaign Planning

The ACT used to lead the world in climate action, but in recent years the ACT Labor Government has become complacent. They brought no new climate policies to the 2024 election and have delayed the development of the ACT’s 2026-2030 Climate Strategy.

Canberrans want climate ambition, not cowardice, from our Government, so we can safeguard our future and once again lead the world in effectively and fairly addressing climate change.

Join us for a planning meeting as we'll plan our campaign to ensure the ACT Government maintains its climate ambition. At this event we will:

• discuss and identify our climate priorities as the ACT community 

• overview our campaign in the lead up the the Government releasing the draft strategy in 2026  

• get to work planning the various next steps of the campaign
