Let’s Talk: Climate, Culture & Clothes
Event description
🌏 Feeling stressed about climate change? Wondering how your clothes fit into the bigger picture? Let’s talk about it.
This Climate Conversation, hosted by Trishlaa and facilitated by Climate for Change, is a relaxed, open space to chat about climate anxiety, fashion, and the choices we make every day. No lectures, no judgement. Just honest convos.
What we’ll do:
✨ Guided conversation led by a trained C4C facilitator
✨ Space to share your thoughts, worries, ideas, cultural hesitations and more. Bring your whole self. There’s room for everyone here.
✨ Connections with other young people who care (or are just curious)
We’ll also touch on our thoughts about fashion, and how that links to the bigger climate story.
Who’s it for?
For you! If...
You are aged 18 - 25 and want a safe space to unpack your thoughts around climate
Perhaps don't know much about it, don't see it as a day-today priority or aren't sure what you can personally do
Feel overwhelmed, hesitant, or just wants to hear how others are making sense of it all.

About Trishlaa
Trishlaa is a youth-led circular fashion project supported by the City of Melbourne Youth Climate Action Fund. We explore how clothing swaps, repair, and reuse can spark cultural change in the way we value clothes. By creating fun, inclusive spaces for young people to engage, Trishlaa is helping shape a future where fashion is circular, not disposable.
