Community Climate Conversations - CoW Resilient Communities Workshop Series

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

This no-cost, online workshop is the first in the City of Whittlesea's Resilient Communities Workshop Series

In this workshop, facilitators from Psychology for a Safe Climate will lead a session to reflect on the emotional impacts of climate change and feelings of grief and anxiety that may accompany our understanding.

Working in small break-out groups, this workshop offers a space for people to reflect and connect with others. The workshop will include an important segment on selfcare, including resources and actions that build resiliency.

The CoW Resilient Communities Workshop Series aims to up-skill City of Whittlesea community members in the art of sustainable, climate-resilient living and community-building.

Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions to be entered into a prize drawing at the series' end. Every workshop participant will also receive a certificate of recognition for their participation and have the opportunity to share their learnings and creations at the celebration showcase in November 2023.

Contact lisa.conley@whittlesea.vic.gov.au with questions or to view the full series schedule.

The City of Whittlesea Council acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live, the Wurundjeri Willum Clan and Taungurung Peoples and we pay respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
