The University of Adelaide Department of Politics and International Relations and the Politics and International Relations Association (PIRA) are proud to be collaborating with the British Consulate General in Australia to host the UK Trade Envoy to Australia, Lord Spellar, in Adelaide.
Join us for a panel discussion on climate diplomacy, and the role and future of the COP (Conference of the Parties), featuring:
Rt Hon John Lord Spellar of Smethwick, the United Kingdom’s Trade Envoy to Australia
Andrew Francis, Head of Climate Diplomacy, UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office
Christina Goodall, Head of COP Planning and Multilateral Strategy, UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office
The event will commence with a keynote address by Lord Spellar.
Attendees will be invited to join us for reception with canapés following the formal proceedings, from 7:45pm to 8:45pm.
The event will be held at the University of Adelaide North Terrace Campus, in Union House (near Victoria Drive) on Level 5 in Function Room 1. Formal proceedings will commence at 6:30pm, with attendees invited to begin arriving from 6:00pm.
