    Event description

The goal of this workshop is to

    1. collect experiences from youth around the world on how their governments and higher education systems are performing in advancing climate education and identify what they should improve.
    2. develop asks for how university rankings should include climate education

This will help you and the Youth for Climate Education community to:

    • Build shared understanding of what needs to be done in different countries
    • Use these experiences and asks to guide further advocacy efforts in different countries, and at COP27.

You will hear from youth leaders from around the world and get a chance to discuss with them.

This workshop is part of the Youth for Climate Education community, where you can get continued support beyond this workshop to get active or deepen your existing advocacy work. Find out more and register here to join.

This is made possible by a collaboration of UNEP and Students Organizing for Sustainability (SOS) International, with support from Fridays for Future Climate Education, Change the Chamber*Lobby for Climate, and USPESD.
